Timing
New in 2009!  The Ravenswood Run is using the latest in race timing technology, the Chronotrack D-Tag system.  Benefits include:

  • the same accurate timing featured with a traditional chip system (from the point you cross the start line to the finish line)
  • D-Tags are distributed on individual BIB numbers, eliminating the need to pick up your timing chip on race morning
  • D-Tags are for a one time use and will not be collected at the Finish Line
  • they are recyclable (see below)

All race bib numbers will come with an attached individual D-Tag timing strip.  Timing strips must be removed from the bib and secured to the shoe as described in the instructions on the tag.  Click the following link to view a video on how to attach your D-Tag: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F53KwQ5gVtM

Participants must cross the start and finish line with the D-tag secured to their shoe in the proper "D formation" to receive an official finish time. D-Tags are for a one time use and will not be collected at the finish.  You may recycle your D-Tag after the race by dropping it into a marked receptacle located at the Packet Pick-Up tent.
